From the Farm…

The Shannon Brook operation also has a farming operation, it is directly linked to and farms 2000 tonnes a year of soybeans and gives direct traceability of its products from paddock to plate. External grain is also purchased but our company is not a trader unlike our competitors and we have primary production as our background and base and can show the product being grown.
The Shannon Brook facility handles approximately 20000 tonnes of Soybeans and other grains/pulses and legumes. Making it the largest privately owned handler of soybeans in Australia and work closely with the producers to ensure high quality product is produced in the paddock so it can be processed through our versatile state-of-the-art facility.
The Shannon Brook site is covered by the FSSC 22000 quality acreditation. Products produced and dispatched are driven and monitored under the Netsuite ERP sytem ensuring high reliability and speedy tracability of all goods.
The recent upgrades to the mill include a new non allergen line devoted to non-soy products for the allergen free market. A new, fully automated packaging line, providing quality and repeatable product presentation that is both important for aesthetic as well as the benefit of reproducible pallet dimensions for better storage.
The completely integrated farming and milling operation allows us to provide high quality product on a consistent basis for a fully traceable closed loop system.
Currently work with 45 growers which stretch from the bottom of Victoria through to Central Queensland to source the best quality products for our end users' requirements. The products provided include soybean, maize, sorghum, chickpea and peas.
They maximise the best quality product for the customer through minimising the additional costs associated with only being a trader of products and not have footprints in the field as we like to call it.
